RBE No. 74/2006: Restructuring – Proforma Fixation

Sub: Cadre Restructuring of certain Group ‘C’ & ‘D’ cadres- grant of proforma fixation.
Please refer to Board’s letter of even number dated 17.02.2006 (RBE No. 18/2006) on the above subject. Board have examined the matter further in consultation with the Staff Federations and it has been decided to amend para 2(ii) & (iii) of above letter so as to read as follows:-

The concerned person should be fit and eligible in all respects as on 01.11.2003 for promotion against existing vacancy and it should be certified by the cadre controlling authority duly vetted by Associate Finance and that delay has actually occurred in promotion against existing normal vacancy purely due to late implementation of restructuring. |

Notional fixation of pay as above would not be reckoned for seniority or any other additional benefit. However, as per extant rules the re-fixed emoluments actually drawn will be reckoned for re-calculation of retirement benefits and payment of arrears. |
