RBE No. 72/2001: Appointment on Compassionate Grounds – Total Medical Incapacitation

Sub: Appointment on Compassionate Grounds – Cases of total medical incapacitation/ medical de-categorization.

1. Kindly refer to instructions contained in Board’s letter of even number dated 18.01.2000 (RBE No. 08/2000) and 10.11.2000 (RBE No. 193/2000) on the above mentioned subject.
2. It is further clarified that in cases where the an employee has been totally incapacitated after the issue of Board’s letter 29.04.1999 (RBE No. 87/1999 & RBE No. 88/1999) and prior to issue of Board’s letter dated 18.01.2000 (RBE No. 08/2000) and had been allowed to retire, the facility of appointment on compassionate grounds may be extended to an eligible spouse/ ward of such totally incapacitated employee.
