Sub: Grant of House Rent Allowance to Railway employees posted to new Zones/ new Divisions regarding.

1.     The question of extending the currency of the sanction contained in this office letter of even number dated 09.03.2004 (RBE No. 48/2004) as extended vide letter of even number dated 09.08.2005 (RBE No. 129/2005) has been considered by the Board subsequent to issue of letter No.E(G)2003 QR1-6, dated 12.06.2006 (RBE No. 75/2006) and it has been decided to extend currency of the instructions contained in letter dated 09.03.2004 (RBE No. 48/2004) up to 31.03.2007.

2.     This issue with the concurrence of the Finance Directorate of the Ministry of Railways.
