Leave Reserve: RBE No.120/1986 – Provision for Section Officer

Sub: Provision of Leave Reserve for Section Officer (Accounts) and Inspector of Stores Accounts in the category of Clerks Grade-I.

1.     Reference instructions contained in Board’s letter No.E(Adj)48 LR-1, dated 14.08.1951.

2.     Pursuant to the discussions held in the Departmental Council Meeting of JCM with the Board on 10/11.03.1986, the Department of Railways have decided that the Leave Reserve in the case of Section Officer (Accounts) and Inspector of Stores Accounts may be provided in the category of Clerks Grade-I.

3.     It may, however, be ensured that while upgrading the posts of CG-II to CG-I which virtually, means creation of posts in higher grades and attracts ban orders, the approval of the competent authority to clear the proposal must be obtained.

4.     These orders will take effect from the date of issue of this letter.

5.     The decision in para 2 above has the sanction of the President and issues with the concurrence of the Finance, Directorate of the Department of Railways (Railway Board).
