Sub: Recommendation No.67 of the Railway Accidents Enquiry Committee, 1978 (Sikri Committee) – Implementation of.
Reference letter of even number dated 08.05.1991 (RBE No.92/1991) wherein Board’s decision to extend the scheme of 90% reimbursement of membership/subscription fee to officers of JA rank and above for becoming member of one National or one International Institution/Ssociety was extended for a period of one more year i.e. up to 31.03.1992.
The Board have further reviewed the matter and have decided that the above scheme of reimbursement of membership/subscription fee may continue till further orders.
They have also decided that following Institutions may be added at the end of Annexure ‘A’ and ‘B’ of letter No.E(G)90 FE1-4, dated 29.04.1988. (RBE No.82/1988):

Please substitute as “Institution of Railway Signal And Telecommunication Engineers (IRSTE), Secunderabad” for “Indian Railways Institute of Signal Engineering and Telecommunication (IRSTET), Secunderabad” appearing against item 49 of annexure ‘A’.
This issues with the concurrence of the Finance Directorate of the Ministry of Railways.
