Sub: Recommendation No.67 of the Railway Accidents Enquiry Committee, 1978 (Sikri Committee) – Implementation of.
1. Reference Board’s instructions of even number dated 09.12.1985 (RBE No.329/1985) and 20.01.1986 (RBE No.15/1986) on the above noted subject.
2. The Board have reviewed the matter and in modification of the above instructions have now decided that Offices of JA rank and above should be permitted to become member of one National or one International Institution/Society and should be reimbursed with 90% of the membership subscription fees. A list of Institutions/Society for which reimbursement will be permissible is enclosed.
3. These instructions will be applicable from the year 1988.
4. This issues with the conference of the Finance Directorate of the Ministry of Railways.
