211.  Promotion By Limited Departmental Competitive Examination (LDCE):-

30% of the vacancies for which panel is required to be framed at any one time for Group ‘B’ posts in;

(a) Civil Engineering Department,

(b) Mechanical Engineering Department,

(c) Electrical Engineering Department,

(d) Signal and Telecommunication Department,

(e) Transportation (Traffic) and Commercial Department,

(f) Stores Department,

(g) Account Department,

(h) Personnel Department,

are reserved for being filled through Competitive Examination limited  to departmental candidates. The change of percentage from 25 to 30 comes into effect from 03.11.1992.
