Sub: Amendment to IREC Volume-I. (ACS No.103 to Para 211).

In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution, the President is pleased to direct that the Indian Railway Establishment Code, Volume-I, Fifth Edition 1985, (Second Reprint Edition 2003) may be amended as in the Advance Correction Slip No. 103 enclosed.

Para 211:-

For the existing para 211 as modified by the Advance Correction Slip No.95 in issued under this Ministry’s letter No.E(GP)2005/2/69, dated 05.01.2006 (RBE No. 03/2006), the following sentence should be added and placed  after the words “departmental candidates” appearing at the end of para:-

“The change of percentage from 25 to 30 comes into effect from 03.11.1992.”
