Sub: Selection to the Group ‘B’ posts of AME/ AWM (Regular – 70%) – Mechanical Department.

Ref: WR’s letter No.E(G)1024/8/2(AME/AWM)(REG)/2019, dt. 12.06.2020.

Western Railway’s proposal contained in their aforementioned letter for holding an on-line viva-voce of candidates who have qualified the written examination and Medical of 70% Selection held for promotion to Group ‘B’ post of AME/AWM due to the Current situation caused by Covid-19 Pandemic has been examined in Board’s office. In this regard taking cognizance of the travel restrictions and other covid-19 related measures, making it difficult to hold physical viva-voce, Board’s approval is hereby conveyed for holding on-line viva-voce as prescribed for Group ‘B’ Selections vide Board’s letter No.E(GP)88/2/111, dated 20.08.1991.
