RBE No. 152/2008: Ad-hoc Bonus – RPF/RPSF

Sub: Payment of arrears of ad-hoc bonus to Group C & D RPF/RPSF personnel for the financial years 2006-07 and 2007-08.

1.     Attention is invited to this office letter No.E(P&A)II-2007/Bonus-1, dated 05.10.2007 (RBE No. 126/2007) and even number dated 23.09.2008 (RBE No. 125/2008), sanctioning ad-hoc bonus to Group ‘C’ and ‘D’  RPF/RPSF personnel for the financial years 2006-07 and 2007-08 respectively, with wage calculation ceiling of Rs.2500 p.m.

2.     The matter regarding enhancement in the wage calculation ceiling for the purpose of payment of ad-hoc bonus to the eligible Group ‘C’ and ‘D’ RPF/RPSF personnel was under consideration of the Government. The matter has been considered and the President is pleased to enhance the wage calculation ceiling from Rs.2500 p.m. to Rs.3500 p.m. w.e.f.  01.04.2006 for the purpose of payment of ad-hoc bonus to Group ‘C’ and ‘D’ RPF/RPSF personnel. Accordingly, arrears of ad-hoc bonus for the financial years 2006-07 and 2007-08 may be worked out and paid to the eligible personnel.

3.     This issues with the concurrence of the Finance Directorate of the Ministry of Railways.
