Physically Handicapped: RBE No.10/1989 – Issue of Concessional Season Tickets

Sub: Issue of Concessional Season Tickets to physically handicapped Railway employees.

Reference Board’s letter No.E(W)87 PS5-17/10, dated 03.11.1987 (RBE No.270/1987) communicating Board’s decision to grant 1^st class suburban Residential Card Passes to the physically handicapped Railway employees who are eligible only for second class Residential Card Passes.

The above concession may also be extended to grant of Concessional Season Tickets to physically handicapped Railway employees. The extent of physical disability which would make the employees eligible for the above concession would be the same as specified in Board’s letter dated 03.11.1987 (RBE No.270/1987) referred to above.

This has the concurrence of the Finance Directorate of the Ministry of Railways.
