IREM Rule No.116: IREM Vol-I, Chapter-I, Section-B, Sub-section-II: Procedure

116. Employment of physically handicapped persons:-

Recruitment of physically handicapped persons in identified Group ‘C’ and Group ‘D’ post will be regulated in terms of separate instructions issued by the Railway Board from time to time. There will be a reservation of vacancies @3% (1% each for the Blind, the Deaf and the Orthopaedically handicapped) for recruitment of physically handicapped persons the actual employment of selected candidate being in identified Group ‘C’ and Group ‘D’ posts in the Railway services.
