Sub: Status of Archery Association of India and Indian Amateur Boxing Federation.

Ref: Board’s policy letter No.2010/E(Sports)/4(1)/1(Policy), dt. 31.12.2010 (RBE NO.189(B)/2010)

1. On the subject matter, Ministry of Sports & Youth Affairs vide its letter No.9-33/2010-Sports-II, dated 18.02.2013 has informed that the Government has withdrawn/ suspended the recognition of Archery Association of India and Indian Amateur Boxing Federation w.ef. 07.12.2012.

2. In view of above, it has been decided that Railway teams, players and officials will not be allowed to participate in any event which will be conducted by suspended Archery Association of India and Indian Amateur Boxing Federation or their affiliated units, till further orders.

3. Besides, the sports achievements in the events conducted by Archery Association of India and Indian Amateur Boxing Federation or their affiliated units after 06.12.2012, shall also not be considered for recruitment, incentives and other establishment matters, till further orders.
