Sub: Recommendation No.67 of the Railway Accidents Enquiry Committee, 1978 (Sikri Committee) – Implementation of.

1. Further to their letter of even number dated 19.03.1999 (RBE No.54/1999) the Board have, in partial modification of contents thereof, decided that out of membership of five National/International Institutions/Societies recognized for the purpose of 90% reimbursement of membership fee to officers of JA Grade and above, not more than two will be International Institutions.

2. It has further been decided that officers may take life membership of National/International Institutions and claim 90% reimbursement of membership fee in respect thereof.

3. All other conditions stipulated in Board’s letter of 19.03.1999 (RBE No.54/1999) will remain.

4. This issues with the concurrence of the Finance Directorate of Ministry of Railways.
