Sub: Recommendation No.67 of the Railway Accidents Enquiry Committee, 1978 (Sikri Committee) – Implementation of.

Ministry of Railways have reviewed the matter in regard to the facility of 90% reimbursement of membership fee provided for in Board’s letter No.E(G)94 FE1-1, dated 23.05.1994 (RBE No.41/1994). It has been decided in modification of the letter dated 23.05.1994 that individual requests from JA Grade officers and above may be considered for allowing membership of a maximum of 5 (five) National/International Institutions/Societies in undeserving cases with the approval of Board. Such officers shall also be allowed 90% reimbursement of membership/subscription fee towards each such membership.

These orders will take effect from the date of issue of this letter. This issues with the concurrence of the Finance Directorate of the Ministry of Railways.
