Sub: Admissibility of House Rent Allowance in the event of non acceptance for surrender of railway residential accommodation.

1. In continuation of this Ministry’s letter No.E(P&A)II/80/HRA-28, dated 04.07.1985 (RBE No. 198/1985), the president is pleased to extend the Orders contained in this Ministry’s letter No.PC-67/JCM-2, dated 10.07.1967, for a further period from 01.04.1987 to 30.09.1987, if not modified earlier.
2. This issues with the concurrence of the Finance Directorate of the Ministry of Railways.
