RBE No. 154/1986: Regularization of allotment of railway quarter

Sub: Regularization of allotment of railway quarter in the name of eligible dependent of the railway servant who retires from or die while in service.
Ref: Board’s letter No.E(G)78 QRI-23, dated 19.12.1981

It is clarified that the orders contained in Board’s letter of 19.12.1981 aforementioned constitute a special dispensation in favour of the eligible words of retired or deceased employee and their scope is to be confined only to such of the words as are the regular employees. Thus, the casual labour and the substitute with or without temporary status are excluded for their purview.
