RBE No. 145/2019: SSEs – Senior Section Engineers – Discontinuation of Direct Recruitment

Sub: Discontinuation of direct recruitment to the post of Senior Section Engineers (SSEs).

Attention is invited to Board letter of even number dated 25.10.2018 (circulated as RBE No. 166/2018) conveying Board’s decision to provisionally discontinue direct recruitment of SSEs. As mentioned therein this decision was to be reviewed after one year.
Accordingly, the matter has since been carefully considered. It has been decided that the provisional discontinuation of direct recruitment of SSEs as communicated vide Board’s letter of even number dated 25.10.2018 (RBE No. 166/2018) be continued for another year beyond 24.10.2019.
