1665. Traveling Allowance When Compulsorily Recalled To Duty From Leave Exceeding Four Months:-
If a non-gazetted railway servant, on compulsory recall from leave exceeding four months, is posted to a station other than that from which he went on leave, he may, if his new station is more than 350 kms. distant from his old station, be granted, in addition to the concession admissible under Rule 1615, free passes and / or traveling allowance for his family under Rule 1642 for the journey from the place at which the order of recall reaches him to the new station;
Provided that the amount of mileage allowance shall not exceed that which should be admissible if the journey was performed from the old to the new station.
