1660. Traveling Allowance For Journeys To Attend Examination For An Un-advertized Post On Railway:-

A Railway servant summoned for interview and / or written test in connection with the filling up of a post other than an advertised post on the Railway on which he is employed, or in the Office of the Ministry of Railway/or in a Railway Administration in which a competent authority has authorized recruitment from the Indian Railways, should be deemed to have performed a journey on duty and given traveling allowance as on tour.
