IREC Rule No.1654: Traveling Allowance To Join Service In India From Abroad

1654. Traveling Allowance To Join Service In India From Abroad:-

Any person appointed by the competent authority from abroad to railway service in India may draw transportation expenses as may be decided by the said authority for a journey from his residence to any port in India at which with the permission of the said authority, he may disembark. He shall be entitled to draw traveling allowance, as on tour from that port to the station where he is posted.
