1653. Traveling Allowance To Join On Re-appointment:-

When a railway servant who is retiring from service or has been thrown out of employment owing to reduction of establishment or the abolition of his post, is reappointed to railway service, the authority which sanctions his reappointment may permit him to draw travelling allowance as on tour, for so much of his journey to join his new post as falls within India, but no Daily Allowance may be drawn for halts on the journey.
