Trip Allowance: RBE No.51/1986 – On High Speed Trains

Sub:   Rate of Trip Allowance payable to the running staff working on High Speed Trains.

Ref: Board’s letters (1) No.E(P and A)II-70/RS-20, dated 17.07.1976 and 20.12.1977 and para 3.22 of letter No.E(P and A)II-80/RS-10, of 17.07.1981.

(2) E(P and A)II-81/RS-1, dated 16.01.1982.

1. Arising out of discussions in a meeting of the Departmental Council (Railways), of the JCM, the Board have decided to enhance the existing rates of Trip Allowance payable to running staff working on High Speed Trains, in terms of Board’s letters referred to above, as under:

2. The revised rates of Trip Allowance will come into force from 01.01.1986. Other terms and conditions for payment of Trip Allowance, vide Board’s letter referred to above, remain unchanged.

3. This has the sanction of the President and issues with the concurrence of the Finance Directorate of the Department of Railways.
