Sub:   Diversion of Jr.Scale/ Group ‘A’ vacancies.

Ref: Board’s letters No.E(GP)2005/2/61 dated 12.10.2015 (RBE No.124/2015) and 22.07.2020.

Please refer to Board’s letter of even number dated 22.07.2020 allowing inclusion of a maximum of 25% of Junior Scale/ Group ‘A’ vacancies in the vacancies assessed for Group ‘B’ selections, if considered crucial to managing of services by the General Manager. However, there are several Departments especially in the Production Units where only 1 post has been earmarked in terms of Board’s letter of even number 12.10.2015 (RBE No.124/2015) and thus working out the vacancy with the prescribed percentage will not materialize there. In view of this, it has been decided that in the departments where only 1 Jr.Scale/ Gr.A post has been earmarked and needs to be filled up in terms of dispensation given vide Board’s letter of even number dt. 22.07.2020, it may be rounded off to 1 vacancy. Furthermore, it has also been decided that wherever the vacancies are occurring in fractions after applying the prescribed percentage, they may be rounded off to the next integer.
