Sub: Implementation of Post Based Rosters for promotion from Group ‘C’ to Group ‘B’ and within Group ‘B’ categories.

The matter regarding adoption of Post Based Rosters for promotion from Group ‘C’ to Group ‘B’ and within Group ‘B’ categories had been under consideration of the Board since long. It has been decided that instructions as contained in Board’s letter of No.95-E(SCT)I/49/5(2), dated 21.08.1997 (RBE No.114/1997) should also apply for promotions from Group ‘C’ to Group ‘B’ and, within Group ‘B’ categories. Further instructions as regards fixation of cadre strength in Group ‘B’ will follow.
