Sub: Promotion of Assistant Sports Officer to Senior Scale.
Ref: Board’s letter No.E(Sports)/Policy/INC/3/SSO, dated 14.03.2007.

The proposals/ requests received for promotion of Assistant Sports Officers to Senior Scale as Senior Sports Officer have been examined afresh in Board’s office in consultation with Establishment (GC) Directorate. Since, the selection procedure for Assistant Sports Officer is not ad-hoc, therefore, the above referred letter dated 14.03.2007, stands withdrawn.
Necessary action may, therefore be taken at Zonal level under GM’s powers.
