RBE No. 82/2015: Probationers Group ‘A’ – IRMS – Powers to Accept Resignation

Sub: Delegation of powers to Heads of Centralized Training Institutes for acceptance of resignation of Group ‘A’ Probationers – IRMS probationers regarding.

Heads of CTIs have been delegated power to accept the resignation of Group ‘A’ probationers who resign Railway service to join other services and subsequently they were also delegated the power to waive off the notice period.
Since the training of Indian Railways Medical Services (IRMS) probationers is being handled by National Academy of Indian Railways (NAIR)/ Vadodara, it has been decided to delegate the powers to accept the resignation of Group ‘A’ IRMS probationer s who resign while undergoing the probationary training at NAIR to Director General/NAIR, subject to observance of other existing instructions on the subject. It has also been decided that Director General may waive the notice period that a probationer is required to give before acceptance of the resignation.
NAIR/Vadodara will intimate the acceptance of the resignation of IRMS probationer to Railway Board and to the concerned Railway Zone.
This issues with the concurrence of Finance Directorate of Ministry of Railways.
