RBE No. 216/1990: Railway Servants (Discipline and Appeal) Rules

Sub: Corrigendum to Railway Servant (Discipline & Appeal) Rules, 1968.

In para 3 of the Ministry of Railways’ notification of even number dated 20.10.1989, which was published under GSR No.850 in Part II, Sec 3(i) of the Gazette of India, dated 11.11.1989, in sub-rule (1) of Rule 25 of the Railway Servants (Discipline and Appeal) Rules, 1968, the following words are occurring therein;

“may at any time ……………………………………and may”

should be read as applying to all the authorities mentioned in items (i) to (v) and not read as part of item (v).
