Sub: Merger of 50% of DA with basic pay-revision of pay range slab for the purpose of Tribal Area Allowance.

1. Pursuant to merger of 50% of Dearness Allowance with Basic Pay, it has been decided in consultation with Ministry of Finance to revise the existing pay range for determining the eligibility for Scheduled/ Tribal Area Allowance w.e.f. 01.04.2004 as follows:
