RBE No.174/2018: Honorarium – RRB/RRC Examination

Sub: Honorarium payable to various functionaries in Control Rooms for conducting examinations.

1. Ministry of Railways have considered the issue of Honorarium for officials deputed in Control Rooms in the Zonal HQ, Divisions, Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) and Railway Board (E/RRB Dte.). The rates of honorarium payable to various officials deputed in control rooms on the dates of RRB examination in Zonal HQ, Divisions, RRB offices and Railway Board (E/RRB) a detailed here as under:-

2. For subsequent sessions/ days also, the honorarium shall be payable as per the rates prescribed in the last column of the above table. This is explained through following examples:-

For calculation of Honorarium say for ADRM/SAG officer, it would be:-
Total number of days of CBT = 10 days
(a) ADRM/SAG Honorarium for 6 days = Rs.4500
(b) ADRM/SAG Honorarium for 4 days @750 = Rs.3000
Total 10 Days = Rs.7500
If a JAG/SG officer has been nominated for CBT for 3 days and 1 session or 1 shift then:-
(a) JAG/SG Honorarium for 3 days = Rs.2400
(b) JAG/SG Honorarium for 1 session/ shift = Rs.600
Total 3 days 1 session/ shift = Rs.3000
If a Group ‘B’ officer is nominated for CBT for 20 days and 2 sessions then:-
(a) Group ‘B’ officer honorarium for 6 days = Rs.2700
(b) Group ‘B’ officer honorarium for 14 days@450 = Rs.6300
(c) Group ‘B’ honorarium for 2 sessions = Rs.450
Total 20 days and 2 sessions = Rs.9450

3. These guidelines will be applicable for recruitments undertaken against CEN 01/2018 (ALP & Technician), CEN 02/018 (Level 1 posts) and for future CENs issued by RRBs or RRCs.
