RBE No. 17/1998: Appointment on Compassionate Grounds – Railway Employees Dying as Bachelors

Sub: Appointment on Compassionate Grounds dependent of railway employees dying as bachelors.
Ref: Corrigendum to letter No.E(NG)II/88/RC-1/1 Policy, dated 04.09.1996 (RBE No. 79/1996) and 02.05.1997 (RBE No. 66A/1997).

Attention is invited to Board’s letters of even number dated 04.09.1996 (RBE No. 79/1996) and 02.05.1997 (RBE No. 66A/1997) referred to above. Para 4 and para 2 respectively of these letters may be modified as follows:-
(i) The words “or getting medically de-categorized” may be added between the words “dying” and “as bachelors/ spinsters” as appearing in the 7th and 8th line of para 4 of Board’s letter of even number dated 04.09.1996 (RBE No. 79/1996).
(ii) The words “or getting medically de-categorized” may be added between the words “dying” and “as bachelors/ spinsters” appearing in the 5th and 6th line of para 2 of Board’s letter of even number dated 02.05.1997 (RBE No. 66A/1997).
