RBE No. 15/2007: Cadre Restructuring – Duties Attached to the Posts

Please connect Para 7 of Board’s letter No.PC-III-2003/CRC/6, dated 09.10.2003 (RBE No. 177/2003), No.PC-III-2003/CRC/7, dated 04.12.2003 (RBE No.208/2003), Para 6 of Board’s letter No.No.PC-III-2000/CRC/1 (RPF/RPSF), dated 15.09.2004 (RBE No. 203/2004), Para 2(v) of Board’s letter No.PC-III-2005/CRC/2, dated 08.06.2005 (RBE No. 97/2005) and Para 7 of Board’s letter No.PC-III/2003/CRC/11, dated 14.09.2005 (RBE No. 156/2005) wherein it was stated that the posts being placed in higher scale of pay as a result of restructuring, should include the duties and responsibilities of greater importance.
In this context, it is reiterated that though the posts are being placed in higher scales of pay as a result of restructuring, the basic functions, duties and responsibility is attached to the posts at present will continue, to which should be added duties and responsibilities of greater importance.
This issues in consultation with the Establishment Directorate and with the concurrence of Finance Directorate of this Ministry.
