RBE No. 113/2006: Dental Hygienists – Up-gradation

Sub: Up-gradation of pay scale of the post of Dental Hygienists from Rs.4000-6000 to Rs.5000-8000.

1.     Consequent upon the up-gradation of the scale of pay of the post of Dental Hygienists working in the Central Government Hospitals, the matter of revision of pay scale of the post of Dental Hygienists working in the Railways has been considered and it has been decided with the approval of the President to revise the pay scale of the post of Dental Hygienists in the Railways from Rs.4000-6000 to Rs.5000-8000.

2.     Future recruitments to the post of Dental Hygienist will take place with the qualification of 10+2 with a Diploma in Dental Hygienist’s course. However, present incumbents will be placed in the improved scale irrespective of their academic qualifications.

3.     The revised scale will be admissible from the date of issue of these orders.

4.     This issues with the concurrence of the Finance Directorate of the Ministry of Railways.
