RBE No. 104/2008: Railway Accommodation

Sub: Retention of railway accommodation at the previous place of posting in favour of officers/ staff posted to New Zones. 

Ref: Board’s letter of even number dated 02.05.2008 (RBE No. 63/2008).

The issue of retention of railway accommodation at the previous place of posting in favour of officers/ staff posted to New Zones was examined by the full Board and after reviewing the actual availability of Railway accommodation in the New Zones, they have decided that as a special case, retention of Railway accommodation at the previous place of posting in favour of officers/ staff posted to ECR may be permitted up to 31.08.2009 (Thirty first August, two thousand and nine).

This issues with the concurrence of Finance Directorate of the Ministry of Railways.
