RBE No. 07/2006: Quarters – Allotment/Retention – CRIS Staff

Sub: Allotment/retention of Railway accommodation (Quarters) in favour of Railway employees on deputation to CRIS.

It has been decided that allotment/ retention of Railway accommodation as permitted vide letter of even number dated 09.09.2005 (RBE No. 152/2005) in favour of Railway employees on deputation to CRIS shall be on payment of normal rent.
It is further clarified that all cases where Railway employees are presently on deputation to CRIS and have requested for allotment/ retention of Railway quarters, shall be regulated in terms of instructions of even number dated 09.09.2005 (RBE No. 152/2005).
This issues with the concurrence of Finance Directorate of the Ministry of Railways.
This disposes of Northern Railway’s letter No.103-G/13/Retn/07/03/V.A.Chopra, dated 23.09.2005.
