RBE No. 05/2006: Sportsperson – Playing more than one game

Sub: Playing more than one game by the sportsperson recruitment against sports quota.

1. It has come to the notice of the Board that in a particular case some sportsperson was allowed to play in a game, other than game against which he has been recruited under sports quota, without the permission of the competent authority.
2. In this regard it is stated that if a sportsperson wants to play any game, other than the game against which he has been recruited, he may be allowed to participate with the prior approval of the President of the concerned Sports Association, who will first satisfy that the Selection Committee constituted for this purpose has recommended his name for the said game.
