Sub: Allotment of Higher Type Quarters to staff – Powers to GMs.
Ref: GM/RWF letter No.RWF/ADMN/RA/Gen.IV, dated 27.02.2019.

With reference to GM/RWF’s letter regarding delegation of power to GMs for allotment of higher type of quarters to staff (Non-gazetted) than entitlement to staff, the matter has been considered by Board (MS, FC & CRB) and it has been decided that the issue of allotment of higher type of quarters to staff (non-gazetted) than their entitlement may be decided by GM/RWF based on the situation in RWF.
This issues with the concurrence of Associate Finance of Transformation Cell of Railway Board.
