1711. House Rent Allowance And Compensatory (City) Allowances During Joining Time:-

During joining time, a Railway employee shall continue to draw Compensatory (City) Allowance and House Rent Allowance at the same rates at which he was drawing these allowances at the station from where he was transferred. In cases where joining time is affixed to leave, the joining time shall be added to the period of 180 days referred to in Rule 1707 above.
