Chapter-I, Section-B, Sub-section-IV (Recruitment of Railway Servant in GP Rs.1800/ Level-1 Rs.18000-56900 of 7^th CPC.

Note 4(i)(a) is inserted below the existing para 189(i) (Promotion to higher grades in Group ‘C’) to read as under:-

“The posts of Commercial-cum-Ticket Clerk (Pay Level-3 of the 7^th CPC Pay Matrix) under the 33-1/3% quota shall be filled by the process of General Selection based on merit (not seniority).”
