1. In partial modification of Board’s letter of even number cited under reference, it has now been decided to allot to Western Railway a quota of 1139 number of ex-servicemen for Engineering Gates by diverting the quota of 767 [Engg.(674) & Traffic(93)] number of ex-servicemen initially allotted to SWR and allotting additional 372 (1139-767) number of ex-servicemen to be engaged as Engg. Gateman in order to meet WR’s requirement of 1139 (767+372) number of ex-servicemen for engineering gates. Accordingly, revised distribution of quota for SWR and WR is indicated in the enclosed ‘Annexure’.
2. All other terms and conditions contained in Board’s letter No.E(NG)II/2021/RC-4/1, dated 06.10.2023 (RBE No.113/2023) will remain same.
3. This issues with the concurrence of Associate Finance of Ministry of Railways (Railway Board).
