Sub:     Interest rate on Computer Advance for Railway employees.

1. A copy of Ministry of Finance’s OM No.5(1)-B(PD)/2022, dated 21.03.2022 regarding rate of interest for advance sanctioned to Government servants for purchase of computer during 2022-23 i.e. from 01.04.2022 to 31.03.2023, is enclosed. The same shall be applicable mutatis-mutandis on the Railways.

The undersigned is directed to state that the rate of interest for advance sanctioned to the Government servants for purchase of computer during 2022-23 i.e. from 1^st April, 2022 to 31^st March, 2023 is as under.

Rate of interest per annum – Advance for purchase of Computer – 9.8%
