Sub: Amendment to IREC Vol-I (Para 211)

In exercise of powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution, the President is pleased to direct that the Indian Railway Establishment Code, Volume-I, Fifth Edition-1985 (Second Re-print Edition 2003), may be amended as in the Advance Correction Slip No.95 follows:

Chapter-2, General Conditions of Service, Recruitment, Training and Promotion to Group ‘A’ and Group ‘B’ posts.
1. Para 211 may be amended as follows:

In the existing para 211:
(i) The figure “25%” may be corrected to read as “30%”.
(ii) Words “(h) Personnel Department” should be added and placed after words “(g) Accounts Department” appearing in the fifth line of the para.”
