RBE No.44/2006: Feedback format – Progressive Assessment of Training Centres – Manual on Management of Training, 1998

Sub: Feedback format.

In terms of para 8.10.1 of the “Manual on Management of Training, 1998” it has been stated that all training programmes should have an in-built system of progressive assessment of learning by trainees during training and at the end of training, the trainees should be asked to give their comment on entire training on a standard format. It is seen that not much progress has been done by the training centres in this regard. The Committee of the Running Staff has also suggested that such as feedback is circulated. A copy of the same is attached. Railways are directed to circulate the same to all the training centres under their jurisdiction and ensure the feedback of all trainees are invariably taken after such course and complied. This should be made mandatory and implemented within a period of 3 months from the date of issue of this letter. Additional item may be added depending on the local situations.
According, Ministry of Railways have decided to modify the “Manual on Management Training” (Edition 1998) as per the Correction Slip as under:-

The second sub-head Mechanism of Objective 2 of para 8.10.1 of the Manual on Management of Training, June, 1998, may be modified as under:
At the end of training, trainees should be asked to give their comments on the entire training on a standard format. A copy of the sample is placed at Appendix-VII
