RBE No. 39/2011: MACPS – Modified Assured Career Progression Scheme – Clarification

Sub: Modified Assured Career Progression Scheme (MACPS) for the Railways Employees – Clarification regarding.

1. Please refer to Board’s letter of even number dated 10.06.2009 (RBE No. 101/2009), wherein the financial up-gradation under the Modified Assured Career Progression Scheme (MACPS) has been allowed upto the highest Grade Pay of Rs.12000 in the Pay Band-4. Consequent upon introduction of the new HAG scale of Rs.67000-79000 in replacement of Rs.37400-67000 with Grade Pay of Rs.12000 in PB-4, it is clarified that the benefits of financial up-gradation under the MACPS shall be available to the aforementioned HAG scale also.
2. This issues with the concurrence of the Finance Directorate of the Ministry of Railways.
