IREC Rule No.206: Training

206.  Training:-

Probationers to Railway Services, Group ‘A’ except those who have been recruited as Special Class Railway Apprentices in the Transportation (Power) and Mechanical  Engineering Department, shall be required to undergo a period of training, as may be prescribed by the President.

The detailed programme for training for the various services is given in Chapter-I of the Indian Railway Establishment Manual.
