Sub: Clarification regarding payment of Dual Charge Allowance under 7th CPC.

1. Some of the Railway have sought clarification regarding grant of rate of Dual Charge Allowance (DCA) on or after 01.01.2016 in view of the revision of pay scales under 7th CPC pay structure.
2. In this connection it is clarified that Dual Charge Allowance (DCA) would be admissible only in pre-revised pay scales (6th CPC)/ rate of pay/ ceiling until further orders if any in this regard.
