Doctors – Posted on Clinical Posts – Their Salary

Sub: Charging of salary of Doctors who have opted to serve on clinical posts after attaining the age of 62 years.
Ref: RBE No. 189/2018, dated 07.12.2018.

Attention is invited to RBE No. 189/2018 whereby instructions were issued on Pay, Allowances and other entitlements of IRMS/ Dental Doctors under Ministry of Railways who have opted to serve on clinical posts after attaining the age of 62 years. In connection to that it is further clarified that salary of Doctors who have opted to serve on clinical posts will be charged against existing vacancies in the lower grade. There shall be vertical floating of posts which however shall be limited upto the level of 5% of the total cadre posts. To further clarify operation of the clinical posts in HAG and higher grades is to be effected against the vacancies in the lower grade of the cadre and that there should not be creation of any additional posts. The posts shall revert to their regular grade once these Doctors under the existing scheme become 65 years.
This issues with the approval of Board (MS and FC).
