Under RS(D&A) Rules, 1968 punishments are described in Rule 6. The quantum of punishment under the Rules much depends upon the allegations for violation of which Conduct Rules were framed. So far theft of Railway material is concerned it is a serious misconduct that deserves harsh punishment for proven misconduct.

Whether a person dismissed under Rule 14(II) of the RS(D&A) Rules 1968 can act as a Defence Helper for another case.
