Variable Dearness Allowance: RBE No.85/2006 – Revised Rates

Sub: Revision of minimum rates of wages and variable Dearness Allowance for employees employed in loading and unloading operations in Railways Goods Sheds and in Ashpit Cleaning.

Further to this Ministry’s letter No.E(LL)2004/AT/MW/2, dated 30.11.2004 (RBE No.244/2004) copies of Order (i) 1(1)2005-LS.II, dated 07.06.2006 received from the Ministry of Labour revising the rate of variable Dearness Allowance for employees employed in Loading and Unloading Operations in “Railways’ Goods Sheds” and in Ashpit Cleaning w.e.f. 01.04.2005, 01.10.2005 and 01.04.2006, respectively, are sent herewith for information, guidance and necessary action. 

This issues with the concurrence of the Finance Directorate of Ministry of Railways.
