Sub: Staff Benefit Fund – Grants for sports activities during 1988-89.
1. The Ministry of Railways have approved of the following amounts on an ad-hoc basis being sanctioned to your Railway Production Unit’s Staff Benefit Fund for promotion of sports activities during the year 1988-89, as indicated against each:

2. The allotments indicated above should be met from within the existing budget provision for 1988-89 under the relevant grant.
3. The position in regard to grant of additional amounts towards Staff Benefit Fund for the above said activities during the year, will be reviewed in due course. Meanwhile it is requested that the Annual Report and audited statement of accounts for the year 1987-88 be finalised and furnished to the Railway Board by 31st August, 1988 positively, so that further allotment of funds, if justified, could be considered.
4. This has the sanction of the President and issues with the concurrence of the Finance Directorate of the Ministry of Railways.
